"I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do." -Edward Everett Hale
Have you ever looked at the world and thought, "something needs to CHANGE?"
A common misconception is that one person can't make a difference. Change CAN start with you!
If you're reading this blog, you probably stumbled across a rolled up piece of paper that said "Read me!" attached to a yellow balloon. Fortunately for me, you were curious enough to open it up and read it! In an attempt to encourage others to "do good" for other people, for the Earth, and even for yourself, I have sent out these notes that people have written or drawn their visions of what good they'd like to see be done, in hopes that others would find them, open them, and actually do these "good things." Someone else took the first step in encouraging others, now how will YOU help? How will you contribute to our world and the people in it? Some things could take as little as one minute to do, and could make a world of difference in either your life, another life, or many other lives. Now wouldn't that feel good? So take a minute, hour, or however long you please and do something good. Turn off the television, put down the phone, stop texting, slow down for just a little while, and help make a difference! Because yes, I promise, you really CAN make a difference! You don't have to cure world hunger or save an entire rainforest on your own to cause positive change. Everything begins with one step. Take the first step.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." -Dr. Seuss
If you decide that making a change, even if only a small change, is worth your time, let us know what you did! You can send back the paper you found and let us know how you helped, or leave a comment below! Have more ideas on how to inspire others to do good and other ways we can do good? We'd love to hear that, too!
